Energy Efficiency of LEDs during Micropropagation of Helleborus ‘Molly’s White’

چکیده
For many years, there has been a growing trend toward producing plants using tissue culture, the most efficient method at present. Every year, more and protocols for micropropagation of economically valuable species are appearing. Many factors influence regenerating explants under sterile laboratory conditions. One important is light. The aim present study was to increase efficiency hellebore ‘Molly’s White’ energy-efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which were compared traditionally used fluorescent lamps (FLs). To choose best light reduce production costs, white, blue or red LEDs with two levels photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD), 40 70 μmol/m2/s, multiplication rooting stages. LED color shown affect regeneration rate plant growth in length during micropropagation, while both parameters (color as well intensity) shoots content assimilation pigments plants. use white light, gives highest rate, an intensity μmol/m2/s saves than 57 kWh 8-week cycle conventional same parameters.

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
The Effect of Different Concentrations of Plant Growt Regulators on Micropropagation of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana cv. White
Shoot tips from actively growing, greenhouse maintained plants of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana were cultured in vitro for shoot proliferation and root initiation on Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with NAA and BA, both in concentrations of 0.00, 0.50, 1.00 and 2.00 mg l-1. Results showed that the maximum plantlets height (7.012 cm), node number (4.516), root number (8.860) and roo...
